What is the focus of the training sessions?The program includes 10 sessions with a focus on 2000m, 500M, and 200M distances, progressively building in Dragon Boat (DB) distances. |
Can I use other cardio equipment in addition to the rowing machine?Absolutely! Cross-training with cardio equipment like an elliptical, swimming, or other rowing machines is encouraged to prevent overuse of paddling muscles and reduce the risk of injury. |
How should I measure my progress in each session?Track key metrics such as distance per piece, total session distance, wattage or average wattage, and distance per stroke if available. |
Is this program suitable for peak performance in every heart rate zone (HRZ) within the 10 weeks?The 10-week duration is a good start for preparation but may not allow for peaking in each HRZ. Consider continuing cardio beyond erg training for increased fitness. |
How should I use the program beyond the initial 10 weeks?After completing the 10 sessions, consider doing one of each distance or HRZ per week for ongoing training. |
